Hey all,

So I picked up a Gen 4 Glock 19 today and haven't yet had the chanceto fire it. I liked the ergonomics better than I do the Gen 3 Glock and decided to pick it up. my understanding is that there were some significant problems with the older Gen 4 9mm Glocks.

My question is, do the new Gen 4 Glocks have the same problems? The date on the envelope with the spent casing in it says that it was test fired just over a month ago, so it's a very new gun.

Thanks for any help!!!

I've sold and shot quite a number of gen 4 glocks. I've not had a problem with any of them. I have seen some who did have problems with the firearm but it was always the shooter. The original issues have been addressed.
Problems are more often with the human. I had a gun returned to me just last Friday that didn't cycle according to the owner. A nice person, but myself and two others shot several hundred rounds through it on Saturday without so much as a hiccup.

Just for some more info:

The RSA says what looks like 0 3 4

The ejector says 30274 and has a bendy "s" shape (if you know what I'm saying?)

The guns made since October of this year are supposd to have all the upgrades. Your gun has the last upgrade which was the 30274 ejector. It should be good to go.
