I live in Los Angeles, yes, the epicenter of the anti-gun movement. Well, things appear to be changing even here.

Last night, we voted in Carmen Trutanich as the city's new attorney. He is a long standing pro-gun attorney, who over the last 20 years has represented the NRA, gun manufacturers and other 2A causes.

He defeated councilman Jack Weiss, the most anti-gun ultra liberal piece of dirt that ever held office. Just last week Weiss stood side by side with the anti-gun Mayor Villaraigosa and the LAPD touting the "success" of their gun buy back program ($100 for any pistol type of thing).

It didn't work to "make the streets safer" and it did not get Weiss elected, which was the whole point. The gun owners of Los Angeles got together and made the difference. We frickin' won!!!

The trick is to keep on this guy AND MAKE SURE THAT HE DOES NOT MESS UP!! Getting in is the easy part; not turning into someone who has compromised so much that they don't even know which way is "UP" is the hard part.

Aren't you forgetting former L.A. D.A. John ("Plea Bargain John") Van deKamp?? (I could tell stories about that anti-guns, extreme left neoliberal piece of dog vomit.)

Congratulations on Turtanich. Hope he can help out down there.

Congrats to you LA residents. I would like to see CA turn CCW friendly so that I don't have to unload all my mags and lock up my handgun when I cross the state line
