A Shooter's M1 Rifle Battery: 5
1 - Shooter
1 - Spare
3 - Curios
All happen to be "Luck-of-the-Draw" CMP Service Grade Springfields, w/ < 1.0/2.0 bores (save the 2.0/3.0 6-digit), and all in USGI walnut.
The shooter and the spare are both 5.8M Greeks.
The shooter bein' a LEAD '69 rebuild in a sappy 3/8" DAS SA/pg Ordnance wheel and RA-P stamped stock, the spare being collector metal in a 3/8" DAS HRA stock.
The Curios are all vintage WWII:
- 6-Digit (MAY42), sanded SA/GAW stock, '44 SA Bbl., and a lot of WWII and Winchester parts.
- 1.06M (DEC42), VAR Bbl'ed Dane w/ a DAS SA stock.
- 1.47M (MAR43), w/ a Marine Corps MCSCB '65 hang-tag and a sanded SA/JLG w/ Ordnance wheel stock.
What's yours?
