Had a great Steel Challenge Match using my S&W 617 in Rimfire Pistol Open. There is no division for .22 cal revolvers so we shoot against the automatics.
I won my class and outshot all the other revolver shooters for the day. I know, I don't have to draw, we start .22s at 45 degrees from the target but still, They had crappy days so I squeezed one by them.
My gun has an Apex Mass Drive Hammer that lets me shoot with an 8 pound double action trigger pull. With the right ammo I can set it to 6.5 pounds but using CCI Mini Mags it takes a little more force to insure that all rounds go off.
The C-More Railway Sight has a 12 MOA dot on it which I find best for speed shooting.
I need to shoot 13 seconds faster to get into B class and I'm getting there slowly.
