A tale of my later life Sig affection

I handled my first SIG, a 226, back in the mid '80s, at an NRA convention IIRC. I was very impressed at the barrel/slide/frame fit and obvious overall quality. Around '86 or so our department allowed SIGs as an option. I experienced such reliable performance with my 226, I acquired a number of SIGs, carried SIGs for years, became a SIG armorer, etc. I still have a SIG or two, and while I preferred some SIGs over others, never had a bad one..

SIG pistols? In the words of legendary child actor Gary Coleman, playing "Arnold Jackson," "Whatchu talkin' 'bout Willis?"

I hate SIG pistols.
lotsa SIGs.jpg

Just kidding. Somewhere along the line, this 1911 dinosaur found the classic P-series pistols. A few of mine, above. The wife has several of her own as well. And the daughters own some that once were mine, too (baby, if you don't want that West German P-228, I need it back!)...
