Ok so a bonus I got at work went in to my account today so I decided to hit the shops. First shop I go to the first gun that catches my eye just happens to be one I was just going to order online, A Marlin Camp .45. Not only is it in awesome shape, The wife hates wood but it's so nice on this one she likes it! Best part about it is they only wanted $325 for it. Done and done, I put the carbine in my trunk.
So I'm driving home after that and say hey I'll stop in at another shop. So I'm looking around there debating whether to get an AR-15 or not. I end up passing on the AR and I'm about to head out the door when one of the employees stops me. "Oh I didn't show you this Springfield did I?" of course since GirlWithAGun "stole" my 1911 my ears perk up. So he pulls out about a 10 year old Springfield MILSPEC. Triggers better then my old one, it doesn't look like it's been cleaned much, but it thankfully doesn't have the ILS and still looks in good shape. It seems an older fellow brought it in earlier that day to put on consignment, the price he wanted? Only $425! Some might not think that's a great price but for here in MD it is. So needless to say I picked up two .45s today. Now I just need ammo...

anapex..........what was the name of the gun store where you bought the Springfield MILSPEC??????

Oh yeah.......congrats on getting both those guns.:)

I think that since GirlWithAGun stole your last 1911, she should give you some ammo!

Problem solved. ;)
