A Tale of Two Colt Pythons(Please give your opinions of them?)?

Once upon a time, in a "God forsaken" place(Called the PRK!)a fellow(A.K.A. slick6)had a "Dream" of someday finding(At least?)ONE(4")Colt Python? He had(Until recently)searched high and low(But, no Pythons had ever turned up!)? He had just about given up, when one day(About a month ago!)he walked into a Gun Shop, at the very moment that another fellow had walked into this very same Gun Shop to sell his Python! Bingo! This resulted into finding(And buying Python number one(A Royal Blue 4")! Wow! Less than two weeks later, this fellow decided to give it another try for another(4")Python? After walking into the exact same Gun Shop again-Bingo(There was a Brite stainless(4")Python, that this Gun Shop had brought back from the previous weekend, Reno Gun Show!)and being "First"(Again!)this fellow bought this Python #2! These were the two luckiest days of my life-and, following are the pictures of these two "Gems" of Colt Pythons(Please tell me your opinions of them?)? Thanks!

And 2 beautiful weapons. I've got a blued 6" that was passed to me when my father died. It is the finest shooting most accurate revolver I've ever handled.

I have a blued and engraved four-inch Python and a stainless four-inch Python. They're both dandy guns, and I carry both from time to time, albeit not together. I wouldn't even consider selling either one.

Neither, by the way, wears factory stocks, which are ugly and impossible to hang onto.

In one way I'm lucky. A 6" Python with factory stocks fits my hand perfectly.

In another way I'm unlucky because I no longer own one.

You have a "Snazzy" looking Python there also! Do you shoot yours(With that long barrel!)? It must take alot of practice, to enable a person to hold up an eight inch barrel(While shooting)for very long? :banghead:

Slick, yep, I shoot it at the range occasionally. Since Ohio passed CCW, I've toyed with the idea of getting a shoulder rig for it (remember Hawk from Spenser for Hire!?) but really can't justify the cost for the two times a year I'd carry it.

Your 4 inchers are beautiful--I'd say your wait was worth it.

1)Yes, I remember "Hawk" from "Spenser For Hire"! I really liked him(And that loooong barreled Python!)in that show!

2)Is your nice(8")Python, nickel plated or stainless? I don't remember if the (8")barrel was offered in the "Ultimate" Brite Stainless" or not?

3)Yes, I was very happy to have found my two(4")Pythons here in the "PRK"(California)! You gotta be lucky to be the first person to find these Pythons here(If you snooze-you lose!)! This isn't easy to do!
