When I was growing up, some friends of my parents lived around the corner and down the block. Their older son, three years older than, I had guns on his bedroom wall. A coupla old .22 rifles, a repeating rimfire Vetterli, a Springfield muzzle loader, and a trapdoor Springfield.

Later, there was a Krag Carbine, and still later, a Winchester1876 in .45-60.

He had a Marble Game Getter, an NFA item. And one handgun.

It was a three barrel .32 RF Marston derringer. Look it up.

The pistol had belonged to Tom's great grandfather.

Cpl. Henry O'Brien is mentioned in this article.
