Looking for a barrel with the following specs:

Stainless steel
.30 caliber (specifically .300 AAC blackout)
1 in 8 twist
Threaded for AR-15 flash hiders and suppressors
Fits Savage Model 10 short action
18" length

Anyone know where I can find this?

Also, can I use my Stevens 200 (Savage Model 10) .223 bolt assembly and receiver for the .300 AAC blackout?

You can't. The threading is the issue. Standard AR-15 threading is for a .224 bore and uses a 1/2" major diameter. Bore that barrel out to a .308 bore and the barrel is too thin at the threading. For that reason standard threads for a .30 cal bore uses a 5/8" major diameter. If you don't mind an AR-15 muzzle device, barrels like you're looking for should become somewhat readily available soon.

The other problem that you will likely run into is that the normal Savage .378" bolt won't reliably eject the short cases. People have been battling this issue trying to get a .221 or .17 Fireball to work in the action for some time now with little to no success. Savage appears to have solved the problem themselves as they have announced a .300 BLK rifle for 2012. The Savage factory rifle meets your needs with the exception of a 20" barrel and the larger sized threads.

There you go. Don't think that they've hit the shelves yet, but I can't say for certain.

That Ross VT stock will fit factory varmint contour barrels; it'll also fit factory sporter barrels with AMPLE free float. Might look a wee bit goofy, but it'll work just fine.

I just sold a Ross FT for a Savage 110 after I went another direction with it; required a bit of sanding to fully free float the barrel but a nice, comfortable stock for the <$100 I paid for it new.
