A2 Buttstock and a one point sling-

How can it be done? I ordered the adapter but it filled in the notch that keeps the stock from rotating- now the stock will not slip into its final position without removing the "nub"

can you have an A2 stock with a one point?
 
You can replace the end plate, if you want to go that route. They make the kind the sling goes through, they make the hook mount type (personal favourite of mine), they make the ones which have the quick disconnect swivels.
