Got two lowers laying around with nothing on them and wanted to start getting ready for Sept. So I get out my handy-dandy screwdriver that seems perfect to get that A2 buffer tube screw out. It has a big handle and a head that fits the screw just right... and yet I cannot get either on of these things to budge!!

I am about to try to drill it out, or just saw off those !@#$%^&* stocks!

Anyone have any ideas?

have you tried letting them soak in a good light oil? light tapping around the area with a brass hammer might loosen them. a hand held impact wrench that you hit with a hammer might work also.

Thanks ckyllo - I do have them soaking now. No doubt they were loctited in at the factory like a couple others I have taken off before. I'll give your other ideas a try.
