I am missing a small piece and need to identify it.

please post a picture of this. dad worked for AAI during the cold war as an R&D engineer, so i saw a lot of cool stuff and am aware of some of the individual weps that AAI made, but am unaware of such a pistol. your posting is the only hit google gives.

The AAI stands for American Arms Inc. They were the importers.
The pistol was manufactured in Italy by Sites, now defunct.

The Escort is relatively rare. They were only imported for 2 years. 1994-95 I believe.
