I love the little footnote at the bottom that reminds us this is not a scientific survey. I guess that makes them feel okay about the fact that the questions have their own spin blatantly crafted into them. They left out all sorts of options, too, such as
- "homicide can be committed with weapons other than handguns, so it is foolish to link this crime to gun control."
Idiots.

As of my vote, 17,188 said No, 8,420 said yes, and 687 said Not Sure.
Seems like it's more than 2 to 1 that folks know it's not the guns that are to blame.
Too bad that's apparently not the ratio among our elected officials.

I'm having a running / multi-front argument in the topic "Lax gun laws = more carnage" with an individual going by the name "ConservatismCollapsing", and I think I'm holding my own. But it is certianly distressing to see so many willing to live under the boot instead of as a man. It's an interesting diversion, but my wife is looking lonely and attractive over on the couch, so my attention is waining....
