Hi everybody:(I just edited it)
This is my first post and I would like to add some light about some old post I've seen here.
Taurus owns Rossi and they are a company from Brazil that makes those guns under those brands.
Bersa is a company from Argentina wich sells their guns in the USA under the brands Bersa or Firestorm, but both are manufactered in Argentina and it's a company that's been around for some decades and always made pretty decent guns despite their low price range.
Rexio is another company from Argentina that had made cheap aluminum guns of not to great quality.
Now Rexio started building steel wheelguns ,sold in the US under the name Comanche.

Hope it helps to clear some of the confussion.
Best regards
JC

I just edited my previous post(I've made a mistake)
I think now all the info is correct.

I've owned several Tauri, and am looking forward to getting another soon.I presently own a Rossi(made by Taurus)revolver..a 2" 357,that I bought for $150 as a "glove box gun"..it ended up being my IDPA gun it is so accurate..the trigger was crappy in the begining, but lightened up and smoothed up with use.If the guns check out ,I wouldn't hesitate getting a Taurus or Rossi...I have no expeirence w/ the other brands ..how ever I did shoot with a guy whos' Firestorm wouldn't go 4 shots w/out a jam.But it could've been ammo...

Yes but it is only recently that Rossi was owned by Taurus. For many many years it was a stand alone company.

In fact Rossi was producing very nice revolvers and shotguns (imported first by Garcia and later Interarms) long before Taurus produced any guns considered to be worth owning.
