How long have they been around and available on the surplus market? I was thinking about getting one since they are so inexpensive, but now that there are rumors that the Romanian SAR-1s are not going to be imported by Century anymore, I might get one of those first.

Though, if worse comes to worse, both I guess...

Not good... sounds like I am going to have to get both... my credit card company loves me for sure.

Hopefully they last until next month, aim surplus wrote back that they have plenty in stock of each.

Thanks for the link to the hi power forum, as if I don't spend enough time online as it is... :D

TropZ, you must have gotten yours by now. How do you like it?

I think the Arcus 94's originally came out in 1994 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure when they were first imported here.

It feels great in my hand and is as reliable as my FEG FP9.What more could you ask of a gun? I love the looks of the Arcus in general.

Kind of blocky though, aren't they?

Anyways, I just read in my ND thread that some guy managed to put a hole through his boombox with an Arcus 94 that had the safety on and he claims he just barely touched the trigger. How is your safety?

My safety works fine, though I tested it out at the range only...

It is kind of blocky too, but it will hold me over until I get another Hi-Power, since I needed another 9mm to shoot.

I HIGHLY recommend the Arcus 94 pistol. I own both the compact and standard version. Compared to the FEG the Arcus to me seems to be a better quality firearm. GREAT PRICE! I paid roughly $250 each.

Here's a family portrait. From the top and clockwise, the Arcus 94, FM M-95, Browning BDM, Browning Standard BHP, FEG PJK 9HP.
