Please google the incident in Tallahassee. I've had no luck with copy/paste.
Today I called the Academy G.O. in Katy TX (281) 646-5081, and the local store here, told them that I'll never return to Academy unless the guy is rehired. The local manager said that he heard about the incident today, and would pass on my new boycott policy.
I left a message at the G.O., and then told the local manager (here) in a calm voice that the Tallahassee manager prevented a thug from taking that handgun (i.e. police report) to use in a revenge killing.
The fired Asst. Manager has a family and now his house is for sale.
Do you Want to make a difference, or only Say that you do? A large call volume can make a difference. No courage is required to dial a number and leave a polite message of resolve.
They don't Really want to keep handguns away from thugs, in many situations. You can buy products (even ammo) online via "Gunbot" etc and with shipping, the total cost might be identical to what is paid by normal, local retail.
