Recently I have been thinking to myself, “what accessories would go well on the back end of a .22 suppressor?” :)

For a rifle, the features I came up with are:
1”x16.5” 1/2x28 threaded barrel.
SemiAuto action, with the ability to lock the action closed for uber quiet shots.
Last shot bolt hold open.
Common, inexpensive, high capacity magazines.
Synthetic stock
Scope rings.
Iron sights.
Sling.
Bipod.
Light weight
Normal balance
Black.

Has anyone else had a WhistlePig, or other partially aluminum/steal barrel threaded? How did that work out? How much does the standard 10/22 action weigh? How about the barrel? Stock? I'm trying to figure out what my Custom 10/22 would actually weigh. What have I overlooked?

Also, if you have built a rifle for a .22 suppressor, what was it, and why did you pick it?

I got my Marlin 7000 before I got my .22 suppressor, but once I had the barrel threaded, it's worked fine. $235 + $50 for a gunsmith to thread it. The only criteria you have that it doesn't meet is that there are no large magazines.

With an 18" steel bull barrel it isn't going to be light weight. Also, I should have added balance as a criteria. Do you find that front heavy when you shoot it off hand?
