Accuracy guarantee?

When a gun manufacturer gives a accuracy guarantee, are they testing the gun by clamping it down?
I see that Wilson Combat has some that are guaranteed for 1" at 25 yards. :what:
 
ofcourse they do.

they take the human part completly out of it, because they can only guarantee the mechanical accuracy.
even the best Wilson Combat Pistol will not shoot better then a 10 yard group at 2 feet if a Idiot shoots it.
 
Ransom Rests

Most Handguns are accuracy tested from a device called a Ransom Rest. If you are not familiar with one just follow the link below. The Firearm is clamped tightly into the device aimed via the adjustable legs at the base and then fired with a trigger linkage to eliminate human error. The Ransom rest is spring loaded to allow the firearm to freely recoil and then return to battery.
