I bought a 3" XD sub compact a year or so back, and it won't shoot worth a darn. I've run various different reloads through it since I bought it, but nothing will shoot accurately.

Thus far, I have tried mid to full charge HS6 and Longshot loads, and tried 135 gr. and 150 gr. Nosler JHP's. Also 155 and 180 XTP's, various factory just because they were free, Federal mostly. In all, I've probably run better than a 1000 rounds through it. Even at 10 yds. it's all over the paper, I've never owned a handgun that's been this inaccurate.

I also have an XDM 4.5", and that one is accurate with anything I feed.

I'm so disappointed with ti that I hardly shoot it any more. Any thoughts, or anyone else that's had similar accuracy problems with this model / barrel length?

Have you sand-bagged it yet? Have you had someone
else shoot it?

I know from experience, shooting sub-compacts
can be challenging, even for those used to shooting full
and mid-sized guns. Snappier recoil, shorter grip length
both add to difficulty in shooting smaller pistols.

Give it a while. More range time should certainly help.

Buddy of mine bought a snub-nosed .38 special. He'd shot
.357 magnum in a 4 inch revolver with no issues. The
snub-nose gave him fits.

All the Best,

Ya, that was my first thought since I'm more of a revolver guy, so I had 2 other people shoot it, who are very efficient range shooters with AL-er's. But to that also, I own and shoot a lot of AL-er's SC's and full sized, this one just won't shoot.
