i got both the wedge and the rug for the ar since they were only 5 $ a piece and they work real good the wedge made my gun have no rattle at all. i have to put quite a bit of pressure to release the pins i duno if it just that way being broke in.if u have an ar its worth the 5$ for sure if u want to get rid of the play between the upper and lower.

Accuwedges are bad Juujuu. There is nothing wrong with a little play between upper and lower receiver. it is normal and causes no issues with either accuracy or reliability What is a problem is when the accuwedge come apart and jams up the gun, or when the extra pressure on the back of the upper and vibration from firing causes the take down pin hole to get wallowed out.

Oh and Proper Spelling and Grammar are your friends.

yeah never thought about it like that.. i might just end up throwin out the wedge. thanks

Accuwedge does nothing for accuracy. 2 things affect accuracy in an ar-15: the barrel/bolt assembly and whether or not the bolt & carrier travel freely. As long as you free float a good barrel and check that carrier does not bind within the receiver or on the gas tube....the rifle will shoot accurately. Upper / lower fit does nothing, unless the upper and lower a too tight causing the upper to distort and bind the carrier.

Shung you want to be careful with the O-ring as well. You can have the same issue with it damaging the take down pin holes. Some buns are so loose they need an O-Ring. But if they are that loose they are way out of spec and I would not trust it anyway.

yea ive had no problems with my gun so far its reliable and hasnt jammed and is as accurate as i need ..without the wedge or anything ive never had that much movement really anyways ive held some that are horrible..
