ACE Skeleton Stock Conversion

I have a Stag Arms Stag-15 with A.R.M.S. #40L. It has the standard collapsible stock. I want to change it to and ACE skeleton stock. I have found one for MidwayUSA (~$85.00), and I am considering purchasing it, but I am not sure if I will need any other parts. Has any one else done this conversion?

You've already got your buffer, tube and spring, so all you need is to make sure the stock and your tube are either both mil-spec or both commercial.

The full-length skeleton stock requires a full-length buffer,tube and spring. The carbine-length tube will be too short.

2TransAms is right, the Ace ARFX stock will require an A1/A2 buffer, tube and spring.

Note that, if you want the buffer assembly, the ACE will cost $110 from them. Look under "Ace Skeleton Stock, Std. Length Comp. Assy".

The ACE is $90 with buffer, tube and spring from the link kaizer posted. That's probably where I'll order mine.

You'll be REAL happy with your ACE. I have a full-length on my varmint AR wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have an extra ACE stock if anyone is interested. Used but great condition. I just converted to a Magpul stock.

The ACE stock came in today. I managed to install it with minimal problems. I am very happy with the way it turned out.

Good deal, Newguy1; mine came in today also, and is now installed. The hardest part was getting that foam all the way down on the tube.
