i'm in the process of doing the conversion on a saiga x39, and am thinking the ACE skeleton stock with galil grip would be pretty cool. i found a link showing this grip at ACE, but apparantly this link is old and they no longer have them. i've been googling around, but no luck. anyone have a bead on this part ? thanks in advance for any help.......

You've probably already grokked this, but the Saiga doesn't use standard AK hardware for mounting the foregrip, so you can only use the one made for Saigas unless you want a job on your hands.

I'm preparing to convert a 7.62x39, and already bought all the parts. I opted to keep the stock foregrip. As it is the conversion parts came to almost $150. I flirted with the Galil furniture, but decided against it unless I could find a matched set.

Do you mean the forearm or the pistol grip? I believe it was ACE who at one time offered a Galil-styled pistol grip for the AK. I don't know of anyone else who offers such an item and have been looking for a while now.

If you happen to run across a place that sells them, please let us know.

thanks for the responses guys, but most of you (except KadicDeshi ) thought i was after the foregrip. i'm looking for the PISTOL grip ( my bad, i should've been more specific). also, those tapco forgrips don't really look much like a galil foregrip, but i found one that does at vulcanarms.com.

Sorry--didn't even think of that, because I've never managed to find a Galil pistol grip--which is mainly why I never bothered with the foregrip, apart from its price.
