Acme Bullet order shipped!

So I bought some Acme 185gr swc's from Graf's a while back to give them a try. They work great in my 45acp and I decided to buy some more, but Graf's is currently out of stock.

So I went to Acme's site and they also showed out of stock. Kept checking and yesterday they had them in stock with a limit of 500 bullets per order.

Well, I ordered them yesterday and today I received an email notifying me that they've been shipped!

All I can say is WOW! Very impressed, especially with all that's going on right now. Seems that a lot of suppliers/manufactures are really giving a 100% or more to keep us going.

Just wanted to let everyone know, and I will be ordering more of their bullets in the future.

I ordered some Blue Bullets on Sunday afternoon , no word of them being shipped yet. Their website did say to expect delays , and I have plenty of ammo in stock so no worries here.

I ordered 500 44 bullets and 400 38 bullets from midway on August 5th. Midway shipped USPS that day. Went from Missouri to ft worth Texas all on the 8th. Then no movement at all. Emailed midway on the 15th and they told me if I haven’t gotten them by the 17th to let them know. Didn’t come in the 17th. Let them know and they said my order had been missplaced!!!! And they are now out of the 38 bullets that I needed the most. :/
Resent the 44 bullets UPS. Were supposed to deliver today. Nope. Maybe tomorrow.
I will never never ever use USPS again for anything that I don’t absolutely have to. Had a similar situation with some Dillon dies recently with USPS. But I got them after over 2 weeks. This covid excuse Only goes so far.

It may still show up. I had package that took 16 days to come from FL to TX, 1st class mail. It stayed in the FL processing center for over a week. Never showed movement till it was delivered.

A bit off topic (not reloading but shipping) a few years ago my gf ordered a ceramic rocking horse to put on the shelf. It needed to travel from Ohio to us in Virginia. It came and left VA twice in it's travels before finally arriving after about two and a half weeks. We tracked it and it went as far west as South Dakota!

So don't be surprised if your package arrives unexpectedly, stranger things happen.

Delivery issues abound in every business sector. Reliability of drivers is highly variable at this time, but it's not all their fault. Some don't want routes that are in hot zones, some decide to take government bail out monies, and some have tested positive and are quarantined amongst other issues.
Expect this to clear up on Nov. 4.

ACME is very good at shipping. In stock, they get to me within a couple of days. They seem to sell out quickly, but back in stock within a couple of days. Can only imagine how many they make and ship every day!!

I just ordered some from them yesterday, but what I ordered was in stock. They were the only ones that had them.

I ordered cast bullets from Summers Enterprises on 8/14 and they arrived on 8/21. Great quality and he offers both traditional lube and coated bullets. Can't beat his prices either.
