From the title, I figured this was an anti-gun propaganda piece and ignored it. When I saw a reference to it on another firearms website, I decided to watch it.
There are certainly people swept up in the aftermath who did not know why the Second Amendment is in place. But, the series seems objective and I believe is worthwhile to watch.
The series strongly shows that mental illness manifested as psychotic hatred or schizophrenia dominates as the cause.
Police did an admirable job under the circumstances, but obviously weren't there at the start and due to logistics and information overload were further delayed.
I was left with more frustration at anti-gunners willing to allow people to be left helpless to experience such anguish.
IMO, the series strengthens the commitment to be armed. The episode where the devil entered the church in Charleston, one parishioner normally carried a gun, but left it in the car. He was killed as he attempted to bluff his way out to get it.
The show also helps one project themselves into such situations, improving mindset.
Any thoughts?
