I've got a Saiga AK-type rifle and have a hard time shooting well with it's traditional/cheap sights. I'm looking for a way to put a far rear mounted peep sight on it.
The ideal thing to me would be something like the AR has, a dual-sized flip up aperture. Being that no one seems to offer one of those at this time, the next best thing I can think of would be a Williams 5d hunting site, adapted to fit my receiver cover (which has a very tight fit to the receiver), or maybe mounted to the rear/side of the receiver with a fabricated part.
Does anyone know which 5d sight would be used to mount on a cylindrical "receiver" of approximately 1" diameter? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks!!!
