I think there may be more than one brand of this cleaner available-- I have to say that this thing WORKS! It totally removed the burn rings on my stainless revolver with no difficulty. Not stinky, but wearing nitrile gloves is probably a good idea. Anything that attacks carbon like that can't be good for your skin.

I found the wonder cloth on Amazon--none available in my local stores.

Probably an abrasive more than a chemical; I have seen similar "lead away" cloths made by another gun cleaning/maintenance company. Generally not recommended for blued guns though, as they will generally take off the bluing and leave bare steel. They do work well for stainless cylinders, if the burn ring bothers you.

Yes, they work. yes, they remove the bluing. I have several stainless steel guns, I'll quit worrying about carbon rings years ago. They harm nothing

Many years ago I used to try to get the carbon rings off of the cylinder face. I gave that up when I realized that life is too short for such silliness.

I cut them into patches and push through the barrel with a jag as they clean the lead out extremely well when using cast bullets.
