Got myself a Yugo Underold with the AKM receiver from Classic Firearms for $519.00. Been wanting an underfolder for a while ever since I sold my Yugo M95 that I built waaaaaay back in the day to fund my SBR PS90 project. I have to say for being a Century Arms gun this thing is slick and well made. But then again it being contracted to Global Machine and Tool means the drunken monkeys at CAI didn't really screw this up.
Anyways... some cheap pics form my phone.
With my "de-banned" CAI WASR-10
Fitting nicely in the back of my Tundra as a truck gun. Which is the primary reason why I wanted an underfolder since taking the SBRs across State lines is a no=no without paperwork from BATFE.
I swapped the pistol grip for a Hogue and have a handguard from Hogue on the way from Optics Planet. Should be here Friday and will have it all pretty Saturday.
Note: No Tapco parts were used on the WSAR other then a trigger. Everything else is Midwest Industries, Hogue, and CAA (non-plastic stock adapter)
Here she is with all her Hogue stuff installed. Much better fit and feel. The rifle itself wasn't made by the drunken monkeys at CAI and instead was farmed out to Global Machine & Tool out of Rhome TX. The quality is good but the parkerization is a little on the rough side. Which is perfect for a paint job.
Sporting my DDR Bayonet
