I decided to purchase a ruger 10/22 compact rifle today. i liked the short barrel, and the slim bandless foreend of the stock.
the length of pull is way short though, around 12.5". I figured it would be easier (cheaper) to make the stock fit me, than to have a barrel shortened on a regular sized model.
what are some ways to add an 1" to 2" to the end of the butt? id prefer clean looking methods, but if there is a cheap DIY way, i will be interested in trying that first (to find my ideal LOP)
Thanks for any info.
