Anyone know of adjustable sights that can replace the fixed sights on a Taurus PT 24/7?

The Taurus Rep. at last year's NRA annual meeting told me that at that time no such sights were available from them, but they do make rear sights with a bit of offset to the left or right (one sight for each). Just decide which way you want to go and order that one. Hope this helps, and let me know the results...

Thanks for the reply. It may be me (I'm a new shooter), but my 24/7 shoots low, so I'd rather need something that adjusted for elevation than right or left. The sights are removable, so I was just wondering if there might be third party adjustable sights that would fit in the place of the factory sights.

I can, and have, learned to used the fixed sights to shoot effectively. This week at the range, out of 120 rounds shot at a B27Q half size target at 20 ft (eq. 40 feet with the full size target), only 4 shots were outside the 8 ring, and 100 of the 120 were 9 ring or better. I'm happy with that (well, I always seem to pull or flinch one or two shots out of thirty, and am not happy about that), but I have to use what is probably a bit of an unorthodox sight picture to achieve it.

See if taurus has a shorter front sight or a taller rear. Figure out exactly how much too low your gun shoots and see if you can send in your gun or just the slide for a new sight. If you send just the slide you can adjust the windage when you get it back. Mark

baz , I too would like adjustable sights on my Taurus except it is a PT940 , I have called Taurus and a few sight companies "Millet and Novak" and had absolutely no luck finding them .

If I ever get lucky I will post up where to get them , please do likewise should you find them .
