Fella's;

Any words of wisdom on this one? The one on my 527 is so light that it went off when I closed the bolt handle one time. I'm gonna have my smith attempt to measure it & then contact CZ. But if it's an easy fix, straightforward, nuts & bolts kinda work, I can do it at home on my own bench.

Went of closing the bolt with the trigger set?
First, you should never cock the Single-Set trigger with the bolt open when attempting to load the rifle.

You should always un-set it before opening the bolt. (Pull the trigger with the safety on)

You should only set the trigger just before taking the shot.

This is true of any single-set or double-set trigger on any make or model rifle.

The set-trigger adjustment is the screw in front of the trigger inside the trigger guard.
I think you back it out to make the pull heavier, but don't remember right off hand.

You can play around with it and find out without dissembling the rifle.

If it's the normal trigger pull that is too light, you need to take the stock off to get to the adjustments on the trigger housing itself.

Screw A adjusts pull weight.
Screw B adjust free travel before sear engagement.
Screw C adjusts the trigger stop after sear break.

Here is an owners manual explaining which adjustment screws are which.
