I came into several hundred rounds of 9mm with a jacketed softpoint that evidently was wet at one time. I reload - mostly 38, 357, 45 and some rifle 8mm - but I have not yet worked with 9mm just due to the availability of affordable ammo - of course that is changing now. I am thinking I can save most of the projectiles and reload them. So a couple questions (see attached pic) . . .
Most have corrosion around the base of the shell casing since they were in a cardboard box with a styrofoam tray.
Some bullets do not have corrosion at all - if there is no visible evidence of corrosion should I assume they are safe to shoot? - or, break them down like all others?
Best way to pull 9mm? Tried kinetic RCBS hammer puller but no luck - should I "bump" them a little with the seating die to break any grip and then try the hammer again or is there a better way.
Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom.
