    Hello,

I'm a poor man, can't afford to spend $4,000 on a gun, but this is one of my life's desires.

Does anyone know if there is a BAR M1918 "kit" available or anywhere a low-priced BAR can be found?

Any advice or information is greatly appreicated.

I think these guys used to have some. I don't see any listed now, but I bet if you wrote to them they could rustle one up somewhere. I have never ordered from them so I can't vouch...

Ohio Ord sells some parts but not entire kits.

The 1918 is also on my 'ultimate' list and I also plan on getting one, one way or another. I had called Ohio Ord late last year on the current status of 1918s. The lady told me that they will not be making any until later 2006 as they are busy filling military orders. She said to call bakc in May to place an order. A couple more months. I do prefer the less costly 1918A3.
