Hi, folks. I'm planning on mounting a scope on my EAA Saiga .308 rifle. However, I've looked at about half-a-dozen different AK scope mounts (the ones that mount on the side rail), and all of them are NOT over the centerline of the bore - they're all a bit off to the left. Obviously, this is not what I want for accuracy!

Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone recommend a manufacturer or supplier who makes/sells an AK scope rail mount that fits directly over the bore centerline?

From my personal experience I can recommend any POSP type scope. They are easy to zero in and easy to modify in the field. The Posp scopes also tilt at an angle so they are in line with the bore. I have one on my SAR 1 and It works great.

http://www.freedomoptics.com/ has a complete listong of POSP type scopes but they are a bit spendy. I found an 8x POSP with AK mount on gunbroker for 50 bucks, maybe you can find a similar bargain.
