I recently acquired a Navy Arms 1873 rifle in 44-40 and really like it; but the acton needs slicking up, and the trigger pull needs to be made crisp. Also have a 3rd gen Colt SAA on which I'd like to have new grips fitted.
Can anyone give me names and contact info (phone, website) for really topnotch cowboy gunsmiths in the Southwest- particularly Colorado and near-by states (AZ, Utah, KS, NM, WY, West TX, OK)?
I'd like to personally bring the guns to the 'smith and discuss the work with him; but I don't want to go too far to do it. Thanks for any assistance.
