Advice on Orlando area guided hog hunts? SOON...

We're going to the Orlando area from the 24-30th of March for a wedding. I'm taking my son wild boar hunting. Is anyone familiar with a guide service near the Orlando area that will hunt hogs with us using dogs? I have talked with Ron's Guide Service and may go with them, but it's a 2.5 hour drive from Orlando and if I can find a reasonably priced guide closer to home I'd much prefer that.

The Lightsey Cattle Company on Brahma Island.Brahma Island is a huge island in the middle of Lake Hatchneha. Probably about the best your gonna find around here. Them Lightsey boys have some damn fine dogs,and a whole pile of hogs out there. Only about an hour from Orlando. Me thinks cost will be around$500.00 thats all inclusive.

Diggler. I was thinking of doing some hog hunting in Florida. I also looked at Rons guide service and the rate look very good and they also will let you use a 12ga shotgun. Let us how you make out. I have checked out some places in Vermont and they want $600 for a three day hunt.

I may be too late with this, but these guys are the BEST place in Central FLA for a hog, gator, deer, or turkey hunt. They're good friends, great people, and EXCELLENT at what they do.
