What? No one else took their old guns out when the ranges started re-opening?

1980- something DW M15 @ Bullseye Guns in Bradenton. They also stayed open, but with social distancing.

Springfield M1922 @ Take Aim Gun Range in Sarasota. My favorite local range, sadly they were closed for the early stages of the Chinese bio-war, but have now reopened.

1K, 25 shots at 20 yards, two hand hold, SA.

Man, looking at these shorter range targets those 25 to 50 yard Bullseye shooters are something else!

Stay safe.

That's a nice looking officers Riomouse and good shooting. Your officers has had both the hammer and the rear sight changed. The hammer looks like the on Colt started using in 1953 and used on the Python. The frame on yours is from the 30s as it has the cylinder detent and the screw like my 1930s .22lr officers model. The rear sight on yours also looks like an Eliason from the 50s.

My Officers Model Special had the front blade and the rear sight changed to a Micro sight, which was a popular mod back in 1951 as the Colt sights were not so good on the Officer Specials.

Today I changed the grips on my Officers Model special and I was surprised to find that the screw used a threaded nut with a driver slot. I needed two screw drivers and three hands to get it off.

I put on a Hogue wood grip which feels great in my hand.

Here are a couple more pictures, including one of the Coltwood plastic original grips and the screw 20200705_141731.jpg and threaded nut.
