Aftermarket Night Sights Question

Is ok/possible to frequently change sights on pistols? For instance, I buy a Glock that has the factory sights, I have TruGlos installed, but decide I don't like them and get some Meprolights (or any other brand), will doing that be an issue? Or will the slide be ok?
 
The slide should be fine as long as whoever installs / removes the sights does not modify the dovetail in the rear or the hole in the front.
