I know more than a few of you have a Sting of some version or another. I have a Sting III myself. But since double edged knives are taboo in Pa, I don't take it out much. I have a CRKT Natural that I use a lot for various chores. Only problem is that the assisted opening rattles the thing loose. I even tore it down, cleaned everything and put it back together with Loctite. Still rattled loose. I have a Lakota Lil' Hawk that I can use for work but it's not as easy to open. Even after 30 years of use and a lot of work that back spring is tough. One day I'll have someone put a thumb stud on it. Hate to change it though since they're not made anymore. Don't know why, they're tough pocket knives.

So anyways, looking at a fixed blade for EDC. Anyone have one of these yet:

I ordered one. But if someone has one, let me know what you think. If I don't hear anything here, I'll let you know.

I looked at these last week while browsing through A.G. Russell's online store. I like the design (would probably opt for the clip-point blade), and looks to be a solid, well made knife. Price seems decent enough. Let us know what you think of it when you get it.

In regards to the Sting, I never had one, but over the years I did acquire a Morseth Boot Knife, a Gerber Mk.I, and a Gerber Loveless Boot Knife. All three are great knifes.
