My Friend Pete lost his very short battle with cancer this morning.

His family was with him and he was as comfortable as he could be.

He only had the first clear symptoms 5 weeks ago and by that time, it was already too late.

Please learn from this and get regular physicals and demand that your doctor does blood tests.

Man, I wish I had heard that one in person...I would have fallen right out of my chair!

Pete was a Cold War Cobra Armament guy...I'm sure his fellow Dragoons would say that Fulda Gap would not have been the same without him up there.

Yeah this has been happening a lot more as of late. I second that trip to the doctors office.!! We always tend to put it off too long. After it's only a scratch/little pain, can't be serious now can it???:( My thoughts/prayers will be with you and his friends and family.

Mods can we add a sticky for THR members that have passed. Say locked but with access only by the mods to make a simple announcement to this fact and a date ?

Sorry to hear the news, Cancer is a family of wicked deseases. I pray that the good Lord give you and his family the strength and serenity to continue with life and that one day there truly is a cure for all Cancers.
