I'm sitting here watching "Ten Tall Men"(1951) with Burt Lancaster. Hey, even the girlies know how to shoot in the 50's! :) There is one scene where the woman grabs a rifle, like a pro I might add, and runs off into the rocks. She throws that rifle up like she's done it her whole life and sure looks like she knows what shes doing. Proper form, works the bolt from her shoulder, and shes actually aiming! Damn! Talk about sexy! :) Hey, even Burt knows what to do with a rifle. I guess these were the days when people knew how to shoot! Even actors.

Burt was usually good with a gun. "Lawman," "Valdez is Coming," "Ulzana's Raid" all show good gun handling by Burt Lancaster, one of the very best, imho.
