sig p229 followed me home today. mmmmmmmmm siiiigggggggggggggggg. though i opted for the non-tactical one, without the rails or night sights. i want to keep myself at least a little seperate from the really weird ninjas.

Spiffy - well, you are still a Ninja - but a wise one if you got the 229!!

''Followed me home''!!  Geez, is that a well worn excuse or what!?? :p :D

Enjoy dude, I know you will. Gave my 226 a full work-out today with IDPA - loved every cotton-pickin second!

well i might have been tempted to get it in 357sig, but wild west guns "sales tactician" Jennifer didnt do a good job selling anything at all to me. first she berated me for not bringing her a lunch (didnt know she was hungry) and then she treats me like a 2nd class citizen because i'm not really a 'paying customer' there.
so i had to have Ken chastise her, and then she finally referred to me as a 'friend'. there were witnesses too! so i'm not completely crazy.

i've been needing a 9mm for a while, still kicking myself for selling my steyr m9, but i like this sig way better. love the trigger pull on it. gonna take some getting used to though, i keep wanting to mash the trigger after it resets. plus i'm having difficulty keeping my arms extended fully while shooting it. i think i'm anticipating more felt recoil so when it doesnt happen my arms overcompensate.
fed it about 100 rounds today. i also like how consistant the weight is on the DA pull. a lot of DA's i've tried the weight starts out light, and gets heavier.

it was either gonna be a .22 rifle or a 9mm that went home with me. i can always get a .22 rifle.
