The AIM Yugo Mauser I ordered arrived today.

I know why it was $99. It's a mixmaster parts gun. Stock, floorplate, bolt and reciever all have different numbers. The bore is in excellent shape. The bluing is first rate. No primordial gun ooze anywhere, just the smell of mineral spirits. Bolt lockup is good and tight. The stock has no finish and a few little dings. Came with a sling, ammo pouches and a nice bayonet. Import stamp is up on the end of the barrel. Nice unobtrusive import stamp (CAI ARE YOU LISTENING??).

This is the first imtermediate length Mauser action I have bought. The overall length makes it a good bumming-around-gun. I suppose I'll get around to cleaning it up, getting out the dings and dents and doing a complete refinishing job on the stock in a month or so. Got other projects in front of it.

This is a good deal for a shooter. It's not on AIM's website anymore, they may be out

I have heard nothing but good things about this rifle. Got to find one!

I got one of the AIM specials too, and was delighted with it. Didn't expect much, but most numbers matched, bore is excellent, and bluing 100%. Handguard was unfinished and elm stock is a little oily, but few minor dings and she'll clean up well. Apparently rearsenaled, but none of the electropencil nonsense. Even at $119, seems like a good deal. Bayo was in good shape with newly blued ding-free blade.

Can't wait to see if the Romanian 7.92 ammunition agrees with it.
