Seems kinda pricey.

I've seen a few pics here of it mounted on an AK gas tube.

Anybody burned multiple mags through the gun with this thing on the gas tube?

Any adverse effects?

It is the optic to use on an AK gas tube rail.

Absolutely no issues with heat, and yes, I've gotten it damn hot.

These are pricey for a reason. They work, they're damn near people proof, and the batteries last longer than most people's marriages do anymore.

The H1 is a much better deal if you're not using NVGs. Guys in AK classes are running these and getting them plenty hot.

Check out www.smartgunner.com they have H-1 Micros, no night vision, for around $500.00 last time I looked.

Yes, I have....and I've used it and seen it used in classes, with no issues.
