Aimpoint 9000L & Ruger Mini14

I'm looking to put an Aimpoint 9000L 4MOA onto a Mini14 using 30mm Ruger Rings. The Aimpoint is not the smallest model but is still on the smaller side for a scope and is available for under $300. Not looking to shoot much over 100m and quick sighting is important. Does anyone know if this Aimpoint will require the high rings or might the medium height rings work for mounting? Thanks!

If nobody speaks up, I'll drag my Mini out of the safe in the morning and see if it fits. My 9000L in on my FAL. I too think the 9000L would make a great scope for a Mini.

I used medium Weaver brand rings mounting one on a Mossberg 500. I had to send my Aimpoint back to the manufacturer for a defect where it displays a dot and a slash. Still waiting for it to come back. (6.5 weeks)

Kjay, I "think" the mediums would work. Didn't mount the scope, but a careful look indicates the mediums would be fine. One other thing, the space between the rings is going to be close - not much room to move the scope around.
