Considering one for a Tikka rifle I'm about to pickup. This rifle would be used for some short range (<300 yards) varmint and target practice. Would a red dot like the Hunter work? Or should I stick with a more traditional scope? As for the budget, I'd like to keep the glass in the $500-800 range. Thanks
