The Aimpoint PRO I ordered in December arrived today.
So far, I really like it.
Pro:
* Bright clear dot. (Even too bright in direct sun at highest setting.)
* 30,000 hour (3.4 year) battery life when left turned on.
* Military grade heavy duty construction, and waterproof to 150 feet.
* Built-in lens covers.
* Captive tethered W&E adjustment caps.
* NV compatible.
* Very clever ratcheting clamp bolt sets torque automatically when tightened.
* Reasonable cost ($377.36 & free shipping from Optics Planet).
* Bore sighting at 150 yards only required 4 clicks down and 2 clicks right.
Con:
* Maybe a little heavier then the eoTech it replaced, but not that bad.
* Clamp bolt sticks out further then I would prefer, but its due to the ratcheting clamp torque setting feature.
