Aimpoint: PRO vs Comp M3?

Just curious what one gets in practical terms stepping up from the PRO to a Comp M3? I know the PRO comes with a mount where the M3 doesn't normally. I'm shopping for a RDS for my new Core 15 rifle. While I've had good luck with HOLOSUN and PA I would like to get 'the real thing' for once.

The gun would be used for plinking and home defense. Is there any reason to spend the extra for an M3 instead of getting the PRO?

No, the PRO, or even ACO, will do all you need.

If spending M3 money, I'd just get an H1 in a LaRue mount.
