Just thought I would impart some wisdom I learned the hard way. The Aimtech saddle mounts that fit on an M1 do NOT fit the M3. Well they fit, they just block the full rearward movement of the slide preventing you from chambering a round. Most retailers only list the mount as fitting the M1, I recall seeing one who just listed it as Benelli Super 90, and at CSA (where I bought it) explicitly list it as fitting the M3 http://www.calssportingarmory.com/BenelliAccessories.htm there are also retailers who don't tell you that its an Aimtech. So its going back and I have ordered a B-Square mount which looks like it does not suffer from this problem.

p.s. so I don't seem to be dumping on CSA, owing to a mixup with my credit card and UPS shipping my order to the other side of the country before finally getting it to me I didn't find out it didn't fit till after their normal 30 day return policy, and they gave me an RMA# anyway (thanks guys)

p.p.s. in the course of taking the gun apart to install the mount I also got around to switching the safety to be lefty by a rather novel method since I couldn't get the pin out which has to be removed to do it the normal way. If there is anyone else with this problem let me know and I wil write it up (its a little complicated), the method should also work for the M1 as well.

Where does it say the mount fits on the M3? Did they change the listing? Have you tried getting your money back?

If you look at the top of the page it says it was updated 7/29/04, so yes they very quickly fixed their page which is a good thing. As for my money I assume it will be refunded when I return the mount to them.
