I have been shopping the last couple day for an AK 47. I have looked at many now and can't tell a good one from a bad. I'm hoping some of ya'll with experience with these style weapons could give some guidence to which manufactures are good and which to stay away from.

    thanks,

What's your price range? "Best" in an absolute sense is going to be upwards of $1000 from a custom shop/specialist gunsmith, but there are good, reliable production AKs out there for less.
