I have a ak bayonet that when I pull the blade from the scabard. There is a small metal part that comes out with it. It seems to be a clamp that holds the blade in place so it doesn't rattle around. What would be the best way to fix this?

Without more details and a photo or two?

I couldn't even guess.

There are about a gazillion different variations of AK bayonets & scabbards made the world over in the last 70 years.

And without knowing what yours is?
I can't even guess how you might be able to repair it.

If this:.....

Make certain that you re-insert with the square tab pointed to in the third photo pointing outward. This engages a like shaped cut-out in the sheath to keep it from pulling out.

Before doing so, ensure that there is a bit of a gap as in the fourth photo. If not, it's OK to expand it a bit to provide the tension necessary to retain it upon re-insertion.
